Another auto transmission with 8-speed?
The seven-speed manual is not enough? Chill man, GM also built new eight-speed automatic for Corvette Z07 in the production. It can deliver faster shifts than those served by PDK in the Porsche 911. Why Automatic? It said that GM wanted to maintain the deactivation of cylinder on LT4, also conventional torque converter helps slacken the vibration that flank the transition between V-8 and V-4 mode.
